The children are always interested in the fungi growing in forest school. They like to spot any that’s growing and learn the name of the different types. They especially like the “jelly ear” fungi! The children were excited to look closely at some fungi that had grown in our forest school helper’s garden. It is called Fly Agaric and the children were able to look more closely using magnifying glasses, some said they looked like “fairy houses!”
