Smashing Pumpkins!
This week the Crocodiles have been learning about Autumn and exploring some of the things we can see, hear and feel.
We have collected leaves and made some beautiful leaf rubbing pictures with crayons.
We have also been examining pumpkins. We had a big pumpkin, and 3 small ones. We spent 2 days looking at them from the outside with magnifying glasses, testing how heavy they were and what different patterns and textures we could see. Then we smashed them open and examined the inside!
We had lots of fun describing what we could see, smell and feel – gooey, cold, squashy, slimy.
