In Tigers we have been reading the stories ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’ and ‘Oliver’s Fruit Salad’. This has been a perfect opportunity for us to explore which fruits and vegetables we know of, have tasted and how many we like. We then took our learning further by exploring what it means to be ‘Healthy’. We learnt that being ‘Healthy’ doesn’t mean to only eat ‘Healthy Food’, but we have learnt that being active, exercising, walking, looking after our Mental Health and a good amount of sleep all contributes to ‘Being Healthy’.
To conclude our learning we made fruit kebabs, we got to choose which fruits we enjoyed or wanted to taste, and pierced them onto a skewer. We enjoyed our fruit kebabs with our friends during snack time.
