Sharing Out Amounts.
This week we have been learning how to share out amounts up to 10. We used rainbow pebbles to share out the amounts onto two mats.
First we explored what ‘Sharing’ means. We learnt that ‘Sharing’ means that the amount of objects had to be fairly shared, and each person had to have the same amount, for it to be fair.
We used the chant ‘One for me… and One for you’ to help us share out amounts fairly. We then counted how many each person got, and how many we had altogether.
