The Three Little Pigs
This week we have been exploring the traditional tale of ‘The Three Little Pigs’. We explored the story through sequencing and retelling using puppets and role play materials.
We then explored which materials would be suitable to build a house. First, we explored the different types of houses that exist, across the world, and what makes there houses different to ours. We then discussed what was used to make these houses such as: bricks, logs, metal, mud & straw.
We have thought about how to make our own houses. We drew our design and labelled the materials we would need. Next week we will test to see how strong they are and see if they withstand an attack by The Big Bad Wolf (Miss Tillsley’s hairdryer!)
