Autism Awareness Week
This week we have been celebrating Autism Awareness week and today the children have been learning some basic facts about Autism.
We have discussed how we are all different, and that some of us have things that are the same like our religion, the colour of our skin and hair, what we like to eat, where we live etc
Learning has been introduced through the Cbeebies character Pablo who is autistic and sees the world in different ways, with his friends Draff, Mouse, Wren, Llama and Tang. Pablo uses his magic crayons to turn his life challenges into fantastic adventures and his feelings into colourful characters with a voice – in the art of his imagination, just about anything can happen!
