This week we were using the story ‘The Gingerbread Man’, to conduct some experiments. Our first experiment was to investigate what would happen to a Gingerbread man, once submerged into water. We predicted that it will break or sink. After conducting the experiment we learnt that the Gingerbread man dissolved in water, and started to sink. Whilst waiting to see what would happen, we had our very own Gingerbread man biscuit to nibble on. It was tasty!
We then discussed how we could save our Gingerbread man. We decided to make a boat for him. We explored which materials would be better for a boat from: Water, Cardboard and Lego. We made our own boats, and got to test them in water.
We have had a super week full of experiments!
