The Polar Bear Hunt & UNICEF Celebration Day!
This week we decided to change the story of ‘Were Going on a Bear Hunt’ to ‘Were going on a Polar Bear Hunt’. We explored how the Habitat of a Polar Bear was different to were we live, and explored the features of a Polar Bear and how it keeps warm in cold climates.
We used this opportunity to investigate how to melt ice in various ways, in forest school! We really enjoyed rubbing, rolling and washing the ice off.
Lastly, we have worn blue to celebrate World UNICEF Day, and our theme is ‘Teeth’. We made our own teeth pictures, sorted healthy and un healthy food and discussed how to keep our Teeth and Gums healthy.
