This week the children have been making their own Gruffalo habitats using a shoe box and other junk modelling materials.
We drew a plan of our habitats last week and as a class we came up with a list of features the habitat
would need – trees, water, grass and a cave. The children talked about the materials they could use and wrote list of what they would need.
Before making our habitats we explored different ways to join materials together e.g. pva glue, glue
stick, sellotape and masking tape. The children were very excited about making their habitats. They
worked really hard and asked for help when needed.
Great work Monkeys!
