This week, the children have worked very hard to make 5 in different ways. The children used counters and pictorials to find and show how we can make 5. They then verbally were able to tell us how they made 5 to their peers and teachers.
Some children then moved on and worked very hard, to attempt to write a matching addition sentence, using the Symbols.
Such as:
4 + 1 = 5
3 + 2 = 5
