UNICEF’s Soccer Aid Playground Challenge

Today we had great fun taking part in UNICEF’s Soccer Aid Playground Challenge. This is a day that revolves around our Right to Play, our Right to be healthy, and our Right to participate as part of a team.

The children came to school in sports kit. We designed a football obstacle course, and all took turns to take part. We had to dribble the ball around cones, then bounce it, then throw and catch as high as we could, then take a shot at goal, and kick the ball back up to the next person.

We really enjoyed our special day, and showed off some magnificent ball skills!

Whats really exciting is that every £1 we raise at school is matched by the UK government, doubling the difference to children’s lives.
