Choir Performance at Bampfylide Place
Choir performed a festive sing song to the residents of Bampfylde Place it was a lovely morning singing some of our favourite Christmas songs. The residents joined us in singing some traditional carols and we enjoyed squash and cakes as we chatted about the festivities and made our wishes to Santa.

Santa Came For Breakfast
Over 200 of us had breakfast with Santa which was absolutely wonderful. We had a lovely time eating, mingling, enjoying the music and having our photo taken with the man himself.
HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
What a wonderful turn out for our fathers day breakfast. It was great to see so many dads in our school.

Commonwealth Medallist Ross Davenport
We recently had a visit from Commonwealth games gold medallist Ross Davenport! Ross gave an assembly and spoke about how much he trained and the children got to ask him questions.
Diwali
We celebrated Diwali. Children had a fantastic time learning about the festival. We hope you all enjoyed your Diwali cards.
Art Challenge
Children, Staff and parents have been challenged to create a piece of Art work for the Beeches Infant Art Gallery. Wonderful contributions are already rolling in and hopefully will cover every square inch of the long corridor outside the hall. An exhibition to rival the Royal Academy!
Easter Event
Our children enjoyed using their imagination and art skills to create some great exhibits. Year 1 did miniature gardens, Year 2 decorated eggs and Reception made Easter hats. All the children made a fantastic effort and here are just a few examples.
Black History Month
What an exciting time we have had learning all about famous people, tasting and preparing exotic fruits, listening to stories , being creative , singing and making music and playing traditional Caribbean playground games. The Reverend Watson came into school to help us celebrate a Caribbean themed Harvest Festival and we enjoyed eating jerk chicken, rice and peas etc at our Caribbean Day lunch!
