Look at the fun we have had this week celebrating British Science Week! We have created a class volcano which we ‘erupted’ using cola and mentos, made lava lamps using: water, oil, glitter, food colouring and salt, learnt about seed dispersal and made helicopter seeds and today we have dressed up as mad scientists!
It has been a busy week in Seals this week! We have been making our key rings and painting our salt dough decorations. Today we enjoyed our Christmas party – playing games, dancing and eating snacks with our friends. We also had a very special visit from Santa!

As part of our Science learning we have been discussing healthy eating. We have learnt about protein, dairy, carbohydrates, fruit and vegetables. Today we created our own mini picnic which included wholemeal bread, butter, ham, cheese and different fruit and vegetables.

Our PE this term is all about fitness. We have been doing lots of different fitness activities such as burpees, push ups heel kicks and lunges. One week we created a ladder of activities (e.g. 1 star jump, 2 burpees, 3 push ups and 4 heel kicks) and became fitness instructors!
