Multiplication problems

In Maths today we have been solving multiplication problems. We have represented our answers and working out in different ways such as using cubes, drawing bar models, pictures, arrays and written calculations.   We know that multiplication is commutative!

Musical ICT

This week we have had our ICT sessions during the afternoons. Using Purple Mash we have created different tunes, added sounds to a tune we have already created and created a tune linked to an emotion such as happy, scared and sad.

3D Pictograms

Last we week were learning to interpret pictograms, tally charts and block digraphs. We were using pictograms to answer questions and found it helpful to make our own 3D versions of the pictograms to answer questions and compare amounts.

Our Environment

As part of our UNICEF learning we have been looking at pollution and how we can make our environment better. We litter picked around the school grounds, talked about air pollution and how we could improve the air quality around us and counted the amount of cars that pass the school.
