In Maths this week we have been learning about money and can now recognise coins and notes. We can count in coins and are beginning to understand how to make different amounts by adding coins together. It has been good to use our counting in 2s, 5s and 10s skills.

Safari Day

Today we have all enjoyed dressing up as explorers and safari animals to start our new safari topic. We went on a safari animal hunt, did some ‘lion’ yoga, took part in an animal body part quiz, made spiral snakes, paper chain snakes and sunset silhouette pictures. We can’t wait to learn more about safari!

Safari Fun

We are excited to be getting into our safari topic. Our role play has turned into a safari research centre, we have drawn pictures of safari animals in Art, looked at animal body parts in Science and been learning a new poem in English all about different safari animals.
