Leaf scarves!

Year 1 put their sewing skills to work and made super leaf scarves for the trees. They showed great perseverance with their sewing and teamwork when they tied all their individual scarves together to create a really long scarf!

Homes for bears!

EYFS have been using their constructing skills alongside their cooperation skills  to build houses for some visiting bears. They used the mallet and stakes, sticks, bark , clips and tarpaulins to construct some fantastic houses!

Fun with leaves, EYFS!

The children in EYFS have carried out lots of different activities using the leaves they have found in forest school. They compared different leaves, found different sized leaves, created their  leaf families, made majestic  leaf crowns and colour matched leaves too!

Fun in the rain!

Whatever the weather we head off to forest school, even in the rain! We put on our waterproofs and our wellingtons and get to feel the rain on our faces, hands and even our tongues! We listen to and describe the sounds the rain drops make on our hoods, the shelter and from the trees.
